Samuel Ortiz grew up in Juncos, Puerto Rico. Thereafter, he moved to the mainland, U.S.A., in 1972.  Sam completed his post-secondary education and met his beautiful wife, Carmen, during that time. He became a very successful business banker and enjoyed a very fruitful professional career.

Trivia:

  • Sam departed his banking career in 1990 and started a professional consulting firm offering services to individuals and businesses on business planning, taxes, bookkeeping, and translations.
  • Sam completed courses in accounting and finance and attended Fairfield University in Connecticut, where he completed intense studies and training in Banking.
  • Sam is very passionate about his core beliefs, his culture, and his family.
  • Sam’s ancestry includes Taino Indians, African, and Spanish.

Most recently, Sam discovered, through his passion and as a tribute to his culture, his ability and skills for writing. It had been Sam’s dream to create a reliable and trusted record of his culture, his customs, and his people. “Globalized Cultures and One Legacy” was born from his innate desire to pass on the great values of a small country with a resiliency to cultivate outstanding talents.

This book is intended as a very simple manuscript that contains deep convictions. The purpose of the writer is to motivate people of all cultures to share and maintain the roots that made them who they are today!
